Houston Based artist, originally from New Jersey but moved to Houston as a child. By splitting her time between the Eastern coast and the South she became fascinated with the different between the two landscape. Nature became a driving force in her work. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2016 with a BFA in Watercolor and Painting/ Drawing. During this time her works mainly focused on traditional mediums. In 2019 Maggie received her MFA from Pennsylvanian Academy of the Fine Arts.While she was there she expanded her practice to more than just painting and drawing while moving into more abstraction. By bringing in fabrics and other types of paper she able to express more mark making, texture and, layers than before. Maggie has show works Cora Stafford Gallery, Art League of Rhode Island, Ester Klein Gallery, as well as other though out Texas and the Eastern coast. Currently she splits her time between making art and teaching. Her goal is to share her love of art history and art through fun project. Along with give kids the courage to be able to think critically and talk about their work alongside other artist
